Missions has always been an integral part of the Church. Jesus Christ told his disciples to preach the gospel throughout the world. As a local church body our first ministry is to our families and then our communities in which we live, but the great commission gives us and even larger vision of our role. It calls us to be involved in evangelization to all corners of the world.
And so, we work within our community, but we also come alongside the work of world missions by sending financial support monthly to thirteen different missionary families.
Short term mission trips and projects are also another means by which we encourage our church body to be involved in a larger world view.
