At the Upper Room Bible Church we want to operate in such a manner that all glory goes to God.
The work that the Lord has called us to is first to build up the body of Jesus Christ and secondly to evangelize a lost world by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in both word and deed.
In terms of body life we instruct through preaching, teaching, and study of God’s Word.
In terms of evangelization we wish to train our body of believers in sharing their faith and then give them opportunities that are intentional to help give them the hands on experience.
Below are listed some of the ministries through which we try to accomplish these things:
Body Life & Evangelization
Worship Service/Sundays 10:30am
ABF/Adult Bible Fellowship-Sunday morning time of fellowship, prayer and teaching in the Word/Sundays 9am
Sunday School/Training in the Word of God for Children 1-12th grades/Sundays 9am
Awana/Memorization, Fellowship, and study of God’s Word grades 1-12 on Wednesday nights/6:30 pm
Junior and Senior High Youth Groups/Sunday nights/6pm
Discipleship One on One/Various times
VBS/Vacation Bible School/1-5th grades each summer
High School Mission trip/Every other summer
Adult Mission Trips/At least every other summer
Biblically Based Counseling for Community
Periodic Events
Souper Sundays/After Service Soup and Sandwich Luncheons
Apples of Gold/Older women meeting with younger women to build relationship and share their walk
ABF Events/Special fellowship opportunities for the different ABF’s
