Children and youth Sunday School classes run from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. every Sunday.
A nursery is provided during our Sunday morning worship service. We also excuse children aged 4-9 during our regular service so they can enjoy age-appropriate worship.
AWANA at The Upper Room Bible Church
We have an Awana program which meets Wednesday evenings at the church. Awana is an international evangelical nonprofit organization whose mission is to help “churches and parents worldwide raise children and youth to know, love, and serve Christ.”
We currently have classes for children from 3 years old through eighth grade which run from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. Our high school students attend from 8:00 to 9:15 P.M. There is a small fee which pays for the workbooks, uniforms, awards, and trophies that the students receive. Please talk to us if you need help with this fee. We would love to host your children!
Awana meets from September to May of each year.
Other children’s ministries
A Vacation Bible School is held during the summer season.
